Based on the comments we already have the 10 people. We just need the 5 deposits to back it up. No pressure, but if you want it guys, we have to paypal it up!

Here's some answers from JDP for questions you all have asked:


1) What color/texture will the fiberglass be?

The fiberglass will be black and smooth.


2) How long will it take to put this into production once we have the 10 people?

It will take 2 weeks to prototype once I start...I will also need someone to loan me their car for a few days so that I can build it (3 days). From there, another two weeks to build the mold and for final test fitting.


3) If 10 people don't sign up will the members get back their $50?

If we don't get 10 people, I will refund the deposit.

 

Emailed John (or is it Jim?) at sales@jdpengineering.com about some of his products a while back with no response. Emailed him again yesterday, and included this GB as one of the pieces I was interested in. If he wants a sale, he should probably respond. 0_0

 

Is this going to cover the center of the front bumper as I hope?

does the fiberglass need to be painted? black and smooth, does that mean it would match my CBP or is it like a flat black? sorry, n00b to all this.

 

I'm pretty sure it's not painted or finished like CBP. It's not really possible to get a picture as it's not yet been produced. However, I would imagine that if you weren't too picky you could just rattle can some clearcoat on it.
