will this duckbill have a actual duckbill curve angle? or will it diagonally progress up like the previous models of ge8 duckbills that have been made?

Idk, I actually prefer the style you're selling but I'm only 1/10th of the vote. I figured once the list is complete I'll organize some kind of way for members to voice their design opinions.

if its angle like an actual duckbill im game for sure, if its like that one i had then i'll be copping a spoon duckbill for a gd3 and fab it to fit proper on the ge8.

All I can promise is that you as well would have 1/10th of the vote. Feel free to get opinions from others, using this thread, to get an idea in advance.

ok so would the CF be ready to install out of the box? i have seen some CF things that have some sort of clear wrap, will this just be the CF or covered in the clear part? i am aaaaaalmost ready to drop a deposit on this.

for the record i would vote to have it more of an aggressive angle. anything less and you might as well go for the stock sport wing.

I'm not sure I understand the question but here's a link to JDP's previous work: JDP Engineering :: Products -- "Design & Innovation with Precision" Sorry they don't let you save pics from the page.

I could do something a bit more aggressive in the same style, any pics? (even on a non GE8)

And yes it should be ready to install out of the box except for the drilling for a base model (which you already know)

Don't feel any pressure you have to do what's right for you. If you have any more ?'s feel free to give me a shout and I'll connect w/ JDP if I can't answer them.

Damn already have a JDP spoiler but so tempted because always wanted a duckbill! This will have a nice sweep like the spoon? Similar length too? I guess it will hit the antenna but I'm ok with that.

In regards to the actual design it's up for a vote still, but I think the previous batch of spoilers that were produced are a good starting place for discussion. Again, feel free to check how others are feeling about it too.

So it seems like this thing is going to go through and people are starting to ask about the style of the spoiler. I've tried to reference what's been said in this post and what's been done in the community when finding these pics. If you would like to add pics feel free.

Let's put it up for vote (please note that this is for members who have sent a deposit):

Option 1 (the 90dgrz spoiler):

Option 2 (Spoon style):

Option 3 (a more aggressive Spoon style):

The big difference between the options is really how much bend/angle you all want in the spoiler.

You should have everyone rank their choices and then take the weighted winner.
