Update from JDP: John is test fitting the final part this weekend. He does not want to rush anything....he would rather have people wait and be happy with the product than rush through it and complain

 

Sounds like a good business model. Maybe fitment will be spot on for this part (tongue firmly planted in cheek).

In all seriousness, I am very appreciative for him supplying GE parts. I guess working in a deadline environment sets my expectations too high. For instance an update like this is preferred...

Update from JDP: John has set his schedule and with the other projects he is working on, will have the mold finished by May 1st.

I've always learned to under promise and over deliver. Just my 2 cents.

 

Update from John @ JDP: “I test fitted the spoiler today and there are slight fitment issues I would like to resolve. I'm hoping my buddy will let me use his car tomorrow so that I can finish this off. Please let everyone know that I'm working as fast as possible to get this done, but do not want to release a product that they will be disappointed with. The part on the car looks really good with carbon. More updates to come....hang in there.”

 

i'd much rather a few weeks and have a kicka$$ spoiler done right than rush the job and it crap out in the end

Update from JDP: John was able to fix the fitment issue...and now prepping the new prototype to create a new mold.

Well assuming it's produced soon, his target is 2-3 per week. That said it looks pretty good for people on the top/middle of the list. It'll be close for people on the bottom, based on the projections so far.
