Ipod USB cord

I just changed out my original stereo for a touchscreen. The USB cord plug does not fit in the USB port on the radio. Is there an adapter I can get for this. I use this plug all the time and would hate to lose it.

What kinda plug is it if it’s not a USB? USB-C? Get a new cable with the correct ends on it.
