i dont have the price of the hks turbo kit yet, but i was told its going to be around $2500. this is also not counting the 5 allignments done to get the suspension dialed in or the new stock control arm. dang. i gotta stop spending money on my car.

 

Why did you pay almost $1200 for some bullshit Tein Basics?

 

it was when they first came out and it really was the only option i had. if i saw some good coilovers when i was ready to buy, i would have gotten them. they were like 950+shipping. also, the shop i got them from wasnt exactly the most honest of shops. wish i would have held out for full coilovers. ill end up getting new suspension once i figure out what i want. i have yet to see a good coilover that has camber plates. and i really dont want to go through tuning my suspension again. i have it set up perfectly to suit my driving style right now.

 

Where did you get the HKS turbo kit for 2000 dollars?

 

well i dont have it yet. that was just an estimate from the guy thats getting it for me. he is going to japan to do something with spoon sports and i told him to get me a stage 2 hks kit.

It would be nice if someone would finally release a turbo or SC kit that is street legal for Cali. I ran my RSX non legal for 4 years and I hated always worrying about getting busted by the police.

 

haha yea totally. i kinda want to get that fake blow off valve speaker and drive around the block where the police station is to see if cops screw with me before i put my turbo on. im not going to because that would be a total waste of money. but it would be pretty funny when the cop tells me to pop the hood and all there is is a big speaker where the turbo should be.

i dont think cops mess with fits too much. one cop asked me if my car was a hybrid when i was at the coffee shop.

it should be for the JDM one. i think they have some small differences between the US and the JDM one. I have the HKS USDM unreleased one. kelsodeez you might have a problem running into the emanage. They greddy turbo fit we have at the shop is using the f-manage to control his fuel.

 

HKS should be CARB legal in california. Thats why they haven'r released it yet.
