I have been using Mobil 1 Synthetic since my first oil change...now at 24,000..I get it right through the dealer. I love synthetic....just preference. Keep in mind though soon as you start using synthetic you need to continue to use it! Switching back and forth can be harmful to your engine.

I havent done my first oil change yet, but when I do I will use Castrol GTX. Regual oil....This car isnt high enough performance to require amsoil, royal purple, Mobil1, 2, 3 or any other really high priced oil. Its a $15k econo box.

With that said you will get a bunch of different opinions. If you really want to look up and read stuff go to bobistheoilguy.com They have more info than you can ever hope for. Good Luck

I used to use Mobil 1, but Ben at AJR says that Honda's don't like it, therefore, I switched to Royal Purple.

I love Royal Purps too but I do not want to change my own oil....just don't have the time. But I would recommend Royal Purps overall!
The oil is actually purple...lol.

I am wondering if it is just something they add to the oil...to make it that color....anyone here know the manufacturing process for Royal Purple? lol

I used their rad cooling fluid in my jeep, was amazing how well it worked. I think I might just have to try their oil as well.

What kind of big change did you notice? What kind of big difference? I'd like some specifics before plunking down my hard earned dead prez's.
