Shortshifters

I couldn't find a good source for information on here about shortshifters, especially for newer fits.

I've found 4 different shortshifters:
T1R (replaces the rod)
Skunk2 (add-on adapter)
Revo (whole shifter box replacement)
Mugen (whole shifter box replacement)

The T1R one (part #54101-GDA-QS) is advertised by Vexmotorsport separately for 09-up and 07+
The Skunk2 one (part #628-05-0200) is advertised by Skunk2 for 2007-2008
The Revo one (part #SS-HF07) is advertised by Revo for 2007-2012
The Mugen one (part #
54000-XTK-000) is advertised by Bernardi for 2009-2011

so what i'm hoping we can all work together to come up with a list of what will still work with other years. For example, which one will work with a 2013? or 2014? or is it ALL interchangable, from 2007-2014?

and feel free to add in any other short shifters I may have missed or even if there are some shortshifters to stay away from.

I was going to make a thread about this yesterday. My main question is what is the shift reduction for each one.

T1R 35% advertised by vex
Skunk2 more than 20% advertised by Skunk2
Revo 40% advertised by Andy's Autosport, Revo doesn't specify
Mugen someone on here says 30%, but i can't find anything advertised

Did you end up getting the Revo? I did, and I'm not convinced that it's 40% shorter.

I just installed the revo yesterday and I'de definitely say its a 40% reduction, the difference between that and my stock shifter is night and day. Plus I can't complain about a 20 min install for a short shifter lol

I have the T1R in my GD, and I can safely say that any short-throw shifter is an improvement against stock. But now that I've had my short-throw for a couple of years, it feels stock-ish already.

For the price of the Revo, I'd say it's the better choice out of the 5 choices. I had to fight with the stupid white plastic seat on the oem box just to install the T1R. Not that I'm against T1R, Revo/Mugen/BC just saves install time.
