Debating over Fit 2014 Sport (85,000 kms) and 2016 EX (45,000).
Different generations, are there clear winners between them? Reliability? Fuel mileage?
Both are 6-speed manuals. (I think the 2014 is cuter exterior design).
I'm not interested much in infotainment garbage. Just wondering if the 2016 gen made massive improvements enough to lean that way?
Listed at about $4000 CAD between them.
Anything stand out as significant differences beween these years/generations?
Never had a Fit before, but would like to exchange that for my HR-V (I hate CVT and the WORST touch screen ever - no knobs at all!)

If the 2014 was produced in Japan I'd say to go with that one but I think Honda started producing the Fit in Mexico that year. Doesn't mean your 2014 was made in Mexico but you can tell by the papers that came with it or by the Vehicle. I.D. number. If made in Japan, I'd go with the 2014. . Probably less likely that the 2016 was made in Japan but I suppose it could have been imported from there?? If either was made in Japan, I'd go with that one.

 

2014 should not be 6 speed... That MY was 5 speed!
2014 Canadian Fit is made in China. I have one, no problem up to now!
