Sorry to hear that. Like I said originally, I think the only way to get a smooth ride out of the Fit is to go with an air setup. I was only out ~$300 on my shocks because I did it myself and even though mine were leaking/going bad, I'm still not sure I got my moneys worth on ride improvement. Sorry if I didn't emphasize that heavily enough.

Air ride doesn’t guarantee a comfortable ride.

There are also many drawbacks to air suspension. Just want to make that point lest someone spends a bunch for something that most likely won’t make a huge difference.

The Fit is a small car with a short wheelbase, beam rear suspension, etc., there are limitations to its comfort. That said, I imagine koni orange would’ve done a better job than some other options. Since installing mine have really done a nice job at highway speeds in steadying the ride.

That's ok. Not your fault. I was taking in a LOT of people's feedback. Was hard to know what was what. One person says X is so comfortable, another says "Are you crazy? X is not comfortable at all." So just lots of confusion around what to do.

So I'm just here to say brand new KYB's ride almost (about 90%) as bad as worn out OEMs.
They don't absorb bumps any better.
And turning doesn't seem any sharper. May even be slightly less sharp.

I thought I was going to get they KYB's installed for around $1000. But the place I took it snapped the studs off the hub. So charged me another $400 for a new hub. So was around $1300 or $1400 all up.

Knowing that, I wish I had just paid the stupid dealer $1600 to install the base model Fit's shocks and struts.

In order of softness (it seems):
Base Model Fit Shocks Struts
Sport Model Fit Shocks Struts
KYB Exel-G Shocks Struts (still not comfortable at all)

People are gonna think I'm crazy but I swear my Fit was more comfortable/less jarring when I put the Tein coilovers on. Evilchargerfan had a similar experience.

Ride quality is very subjective tho.

Oem springs w koni orange

They’re not a great tire, but its a sunk cost.

I would just get new Koni orange shock/struts and put the OEM springs on them. See how that all feels.

That’s what I did. Oem springs w koni orange. Car rides super smooth on the freeway, but still firms up when you need it during spirited driving. So, comfort got better but sportiness also got better. The konis just seem to work a lot better than stock w the stock springs. If I could go back I would switch the 16s to light weight 15s. I already pulled the trigger on some light weight 16s and I’m just waiting for Honda to fill their back order for hubs so I can swap in new hub/wheel bearings with new rims. I’m on the stock 16s now

Are there any coilover kits that you can adjust the compression and rebound? I have driven vehicles around 2K lbs in weight and the suspension changed dramatically depending on how much adjustment you can do to the coilover.
