I've only filled my gas tank once since March -- do the math!

Auto repair info is available on Youtube. Pretty much every common repair can be found there .. usually for your make/model. That’s one piece of it.

Of course, that lacks the discussion component. Yes, I know you can use the YouTube comments but can’t count on getting informed replies or have any idea if the commenter has a Fit themselves.

It’s too bad but aside from leaving links to this forum on YouTube and Facebook I can’t see how a good portion of ppl would even think to look for it.

I think that groups are migrating to Facebook groups. I was a former longtime writer and visitor on XMFan.com. The site was around for years but the owner, Ryan could afford to pay for it anymore. I've owned a Fit for about a month and found this forum within the first week of ownership. I scan it a few times a week but I've written on a forum for years and am not a fan of migrating anything to Facebook. I prefer to stay anonymous on forums like Fit Freak and look forward to contributing to the site.

I looked at the Fit facebook group but it's just about all people posting photos of their cars. This is a help site more than anything else. Much better.

I hope to practice a little bit of what I was preaching soon, my rear disc conversion kit shipped from fastbrakes yesterday.

You mean you don’t want to look at 100 pictures of similarly tastelessly modified Honda Fits without learning....anything?

I think I’d be more active here if there was something to look forward to.

I am pretty upset that Honda is discontinuing this car in the US. I was excited about getting a fit EV, but now I’m looking at other small EVs or possibly the VW bus that’s coming out in the next couple years. I’m a big fan of small practical cars - and I really hate big SUVs and trucks, but that’s apparently what the car companies want to ram down our throats in this country.

You must be following me on FB

I miss forums. Social media has been horrible to the advancement of all platforms. It's just the same questions every single day because there is zero longevity to the information.

I was absent from Fitfreak too long. Selfishly, I gathered information from time to time, never thinking to post. This post is an eye opener. Thank you.
