I wanted a locking gas cap for my 2013 Fit. I also wanted it keyed the same as my starting key. So I had it rekeyed today and yes I am not sure how good of an idea this is.
As you may know when putting the key in the position that will allow you to unscrew the cap the key can not be removed. So your hole key system must be rotated when removing the cap. This allows all your stuff to bounce around on your paint.

I may be able to unlock the cap then loosen it relock the cap remove the key and hope for enough friction to allow the camp to unscrew from the inlet.

I will try this out soon
