Maintenance question. Stumped mechanic.

I have a 2015 Fit and all four of lights on the dash and I’ve done everything I can think to do to get rid of them. Replaced the battery, changed spark plugs and coil packs (check engine says cylinder misfire), reset relays and checked fuses. Anyone have the same issue?

There is a little black box on top of the battery that can malfunction and light up all those lights i believe....

How do you reset a relay?

Pull the code(s) and report back. If you don't have a code reader, any Advance Auto/Autozone/O'Reilly's/etc. will pull them for free. If the code is related to misfiring, some quick research online seems to indicate that injectors are one possible culprit (see here and here).

Pulled the codes last week, cylinder 2&3 misfire and random misfire. replaced ALL 4 plugs, and cylinder 2/3 coil. No change in the issue.
injectors are expensive and unavailable in my area. So I’ll have to search Honda parts direct or something.

This same thing is happening to me too. I’m getting a misfire on cylinder 2 even though I already replaced it. The mechanic said it could be that I’m using 87 Kroger gas.

Update! Just got the car back last Tuesday. Replaced the fuel injectors and did a transmission fluid flush and change. Codes went away and never came back! $1500+ but worth it!

Must be an independent mechanic, I seem to remember people getting gouged by dealerships on the injectors. Sounds like you got a good one.

yes! I had replaced everything there was to replace before I broke down and took it to a shop. The local Honda dealership told me that they wouldn’t touch it since they had not been the ones to service it first. They’d be happy to put their computer on it but that’d be it. Very rude and needless to say, they didn’t get my business.
