Is this a Good Deal?

Hello, I am shopping for a FIT. I found a used Black, AT, Sport with the larger wheels and the paddle shift. It has 5,434 miles on it and I got the dealer at $15000 for the car, OTD is 15,949. There is no KBB lising for used FIT's so I have nothing to go off of. I remember the sticker new was like 16989 or something like that.

Opinions?

Thanks!

15.000$ ? Is that with all kind of taxes to the state?
Here in Norway the basic Jazz (1.4 MT) is sold new for around 31.000$, my 1.4 CVT with the OEM styling set cost almost 37.000$, and thats with all taxes and fees to the state...
A 3 year old Jazz 1.4 MT is going for around 26.000$ ....
Be happy your not over here

Are you planning on keeping it for a while, or looking to sell after a couple of years or so?

If you're going to keep it for a while, I'd say go for it if everything else seems OK; if you think you might want to bail after a couple of years for a 2009 Civic SI (hee!) I'm not so sure- might take a bit of a hit when you go to sell/trade.

But what do I know?

I was giving the value in US $, we use Kroner here in Norway and the exchange rate is 1 US Dollar = 6.22949 Norwegian Kroner.

So 15.000$ is little over 93.400 NOK. And that is about 1/4 of a years salary here in Norway.
I think I wil come over there and get me a Fit instead

But back to the topic:
I have no idea if 15.000$ is a good deal in US.
But if you compare of the diffrence from what you pay for a new car, is it not better to go for a new car where you get all kinds of manufactures garuantee? And you know that it has not been involved in any accidents.
