Today I was cruising in a residential area with various curves and dips in 3rd gear.
The engine was singing along at approx. 2700-3k RPM.
Felt like we were easily going over the speed limit, but we were only doing 55-60kph (34-37 mph) on a road with a 55kph limit.
Thoroughly entertaining, yet safe and efficient!

35 mph is way too fast for a residential area.

I like the tall seating position,. sort of like driving a truck or SUV. It's noticeable when pulling up to a drive-up window (I should mention that I am more used to cars, which are slightly lower, even my big Impala).

I also like the sound system. I have a 2021 Subaru WRX and it's sound system is awful in comparison. But it's much faster than the Fit!

I like how no one ever tries to race me at a stoplight. They see the Fit, and they KNOW it's slow, so they don't even bother.

In my other cars, every kid with a newly-minted license wants to race me at a red light. It gets old after awhile.

2015 EX. The smooth ride. I have a 2004 Lexus ES that rides very harshly, even after rebuilding the suspension (mostly) which was a huge disappointment. Might not make sense, I know, but in most situations the Honda provides an excellent ride quality.

I did a pull against a guy in a Charger R/T a few months ago. Of course I lost, but he was surprised at how fast it for up to. The road was basically a 1/4 - 1/2 mile dragstrip and I got it up to maybe 105 mph with a safety margin for braking. For comparison, in my 2006 Accord V6, I've gotten up to ~125 there.

Some people hear the extra rumble from my HKS Silent Hi Power and try their hand. Basically all of them can beat me, but I can catch them by surprise. Of course all stunts are performed on a closed course in Mexico. One of these days, I gotta take my GK5 6 speed to a dragstrip and see what she actually puts down in the quarter mile.

Where I live there's several cuvry roads and highways.
Folks usually leave me in the dust at lights ( I don't even bother trying to keep up).
But as soon as we start encountering the curves, I quickly catch up and proceed to pass them.
I attribute all my handling improvements to the HFP suspension.

Same here. I live in Montgomery County, Maryland, about 20 minutes outside of DC. There's all sorts of twisty roads in the western half of the county, plus you have I-495 and I-270 where the speed limit may as well be 85 mph. So they have a bit of something for everyone.

I was doing some back roads cruising a month or 2 ago with a few friends, all of whom have larger and faster cars than my GK5. They were amazed by how well planted it was in the turns and how I could easily catch back up to them after they took off in the straights. That 2500 lb curb weight is a thing of beauty, especially on a modern car.

SORRY

Some of us can drive manual gearbox cars. The last 6 speed I drove, was a MX5 well over 10 years ago. Now I'm happier using a CVT

Since my area people park like a-holes, I hate when Im in my Pilot and can't find a parking spot. My first thought is "My Fit would have fit!"
