Repair rocker moulding?

Greetings All.

I've been a member a while, but it's been a while since I came by.

I have a 2011 Fit Sport. Recently bumped off the driver side rocker moulding (trim right under the doors). A couple of the mounting tabs popped off. These tabs look like they were originally glued or sonic welded. Does anyone know the best glue for reattaching these parts? A body shop gave me a price of over $500 for this trim piece.

I know some plastics have very specific glue formulas. I don't know how to find exactly what kind of plastic this part is made of.

Thanks in advance for anyone who answers.

Eddie

If you are still looking for solutions, try https://www.lkqonline.com. The sell used car parts online at their site as well as on ebay. I have got some good deals on various bits and pieces from them.

There site pretty much lets you see the parts you will be purchasing. Might even get a color matching piece....
