It is finally here!!

I am so excited. I just got my Auto Sport Fit tonight. Yay!! I put down a down payment on August 16th, and after 5 months waiting, it's here. I drove it for a while tonight. I love it!! I know it's kind of late of getting it, since the 2008 "is" coming out soon, but I just want to share my excitement to everyone.
It't kind of weird that it doesn't come with the floor mats. So, any suggestions on what kind I should get? I do get snow where I live, so, may be plastic? What do you guys have? Thanks.

Look inside the Driver side door and make sure that your manufacture date is after Nov 2006. If not, your new fit is unsafe and you should go back to your dealer and request a new car built after Nov 2006

see report from Insurance Institute for Highway Safety on Dec 19

Not to start a flame war, but what makes it unsafe from one month to the next? All we need is a reprogrammed air bag on models prior to Nov 2006.

Anyways, I have the carpet floor mats and they are just fine. I'm not sure what the all season are like, but the carpet ones work for me. I grabbed mine off of Bernardi parts.

Congrats on your fit!

"allowing high forces on the drivers head" is not crap.

My head contains my second favorite organ and I plan on protecting it!

I'm sure an SRS ECU reflash is in the works. No need to panic people by calling their cars unsafe.
