And I thought I lived in a cold place, but here it has never been below -35C. Most of the winters the lowest is around -15C, but there have been winters with 2.5m snow...

Yeah it's the od time where we see crazy cold like that. 3 years ago ( the day my 3rd was born) is was -52 with the windchill. What's even crazier is in the summer we'll see +38 at times ( 100F) So it's quite the variance in the coarse of a year.

Just as crazy is how in heck do our cars still run in those conditions.
Always amazes me.

Aside from the cold, how about reports on how your Fit is coping with
this weather??

I was wondering if anyone up here has a base Fit and no A/C and how their windows are doing.

I find on the highway I have to run in defrost mode but turn the heat down
and the fan on 3 to keep the windshield frost free. The 4 banger does heat the car very well.

I use a 6" fan clamped on to the pass. side to blow air around the rear windows.

I also notice a lot of other cars around me that have almost frosted over windows.

My dash rattles like a banshee in the cold, however, anything below +4 seems to do that. Other then that, its good to see our cars work and hope it warms up lol.

On a side note, we should have a Fit meet when it warms up guys, so i can see a fit other then orange. pm me peggers

Keep in mind that these numbers are calculated with wind chill so yeah the coldest we really get is around there to. The very odd time we'll see -38.
