Programming key fob with new battery

The battery died in my key fob for my 2015 fit. I bought new batteries. Will I have to reprogram it after inserting the new battery? Can I do that myself?

Fob should keep all settings. Just swap the battery and you're good to go.

My dealer replaces them for free. It's worth checking out. And I don't even use them for service.
