optimal crusing speed/fog light question

just had a quick question. im about to go to vancouver from edmonton on my honda fit, and just had a question in regards to what is the most optimal traveling speed to maximize fuel comsumption while still traveling at a quick rate?

oh and on my fit sport, i just descovered that my front left fog light is cracked, any idea where i can get a replacement? or do i have to get a whole front new bumper?

i believe that 65-68ish is optimal speed and yes you can just buy a replacement fog lamp thing, i dont own a fit but i believe that you dont even need a whole lamp, maybe just the outside glass thing? lol someone chime in please!

you dont have to get the whole bumper but you do have to get the whole foglight assembly

65 MPH is the maximum you want. At 70-75 MPH, mileage begins to drop.

Once you replace the fog light, I would recommend protecting it with film, like Xpel or Stonegard.

With regards to optimal crusing speed, I would think this is accomplished by driving at the lowest RPM in 5th gear...

sumo, on a recent trip I set my cruise at just over 100 km/h and managed just under 45 MPG in my 5 speed Sport
