Questions about lint and cargo covers

I bought my Fit in June and love it but have discovered it is very difficult to clean/vacuum the seats and cargo area. I've tried the massive car vacs at the car wash, as well as a lint brush and still have not been able to entirely remove the dust and lint. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, what did you do to get your Fit interior looking as cute as the exterior?

My second question has to do with the cargo cover I had installed last month. It's not flush with the back seats and therefore has a small gap which shows a section of the cargo area. Is this normal or did my Honda dealer not properly install the cover? Does anyone else who bought the cargo cover have a gap between the beginning of the cover and the backseats?

Thanks for any advice you can give me!

Your back seats are not fully reclined.

Re: cargo cover

Thanks for the info and for preventing me from looking like an idiot to my Honda dealer. I'll readjust the back seats and hope I'm not the only one who made such an easy mistake!

I use 3M lint rollers for clothing to keep the seats clean.

Two cleaning tools remain in my Fit 24/7: 1. 3 M Lint Roller 2. Very soft lambs wool detailing wand. The only way to clean the dust from the dash and remove the lint from the seats!

Thats what I use on my '97 Prelude. Black cloth can be a pain sometimes.
