For those with dealer added on alarm systems does your Fit automatically lock all its doors when the engine is started? Mine doesn't, it used to before the alarm was installed but now it doesn't. It also doesn't unlock when I shut off the engine. Also all the doors unlock when I hit the unlock button once and not just the driver door like previously...

 

use the manual to program the way you want it to work. if you're not sure how, take it to the dealership.

 

first off if you got the sport model you should have gotten the "alarm option" since they come standard from Honda on sports model and they cannot remove them.
If you got a Base then I'm assuming you got dealer option in which case I'd take it back to have reprogram it. If you got a aftermarker one at a Big Box store then that was a wrong move.

 

I know my options I got a dealer added on alarm with shock sensors and other features. Btw found the problem, the tech sent out to install the alarm gave me a lower model, seemingly on purpose. Anyways I got the correct model installed today and everything works fine.
