honestly not really. i dont have very good vision to begin with and DVD quality is plenty as the screen in my music room is small.. although i can tell that blueray is definitely cleaner.

Agree about avoiding rubbing at all costs. But according to him 0 rubbing. its stock tire size, just kicked out 15mm with offset. lowered on eibach pros which only drop 1" all around. seriously what Im considering if SWIFT continues to lag on releasing their springs.
Thursday (aka Friday for me) is almost done. You guys still dealing with snow?
it was supposed to be 60%+ chance of rain Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday.....well guess what...we got 0 rain. Meteorologists are the only people who can be wrong that often and still be employed.

I dig the color and wheel style. I had XXRs on my 99 hatch...did well for a DD. Not like Im tracking the car or anything. But weight savings would be nice...not sure how heavy these XXRs are.
Those do look darn good. I'd just make sure they aren't heavier than stock.
I can live with equaling stock weight, but sure don't want to go over if it can be avoided. Makes buying wheels for our Fit harder since the factory 15" alloys aren't very heavy.
Biggest gain (guess it's a loss) I ever had was when I replaced the factory steel wheels and bicycle looking tires on my Superduty truck. Went up in diameter and visually doubled the width while dropping about 30lbs per corner.
Factory wheel/tire were 90lbs each!

meh, not digging the shape of those wheels nor sidewall.. looks kinda bubbly. maybe go a tad lower on the sidewall or wider wheel or something to get a slight stretch maybe?
an inch up would definitely look better but then the barrel will be so big vs those tiny calipers probably better to stick to that size and lower profile tires.. especially if running conti's or try some other tire brand with a straighter sidewall.
the civic's factory wheels look better.

yah, ure a mustang/lincoln fan so i can understand.
huh, both my GTI and R runs 235/35/19's and they're completely fine.. well for my streets anyway. not sure on gravel and dirt roads you drive.

275/40-20's is a popular size for my Lincoln with wider wheels. My stock tires are 245/45-20. They ride nice!
I guess I just can't imagine a Honda with 30's, but the CTR's suspension is supposed to be magical.
Our Fit with 45's is OK, but I would not want any less sidewall for that car.
We don't have to worry about wheel damage due to pot holes like cities in the NE, but we do have some less than smooth roads. Plus, if you're going to mob through the mountains, you want some suspension and sidewall flex. There's plenty of places that get debris washing down from the mountains onto the roads. I've had some interesting experiences on my sport bike. Nothing like the back end stepping out going over gravel in the road, mid turn, at near full lean to get your attention.

A couple of weeks ago I was at Discount Tire. One of the guys I know told me about a CTR they had in. Two broken wheels & two dead tires. He said it took them over a week to source new tires & wheels. So much for rubber-band sidewall tires.
