Long end of the week last week. Had to take my dad to the hospital thursday at midnight. His heart was racing for several hours so he called me to take him in. He ended up needing (3) stents and suffered an extremely mild heart attack. 36 hours after going to ER he's back home. It's crazy.
Gonna be in the 80s today and tomorrow....weird.
As for prints Mike410b, they will be put in frames and hung. Hope you get better and hope you got your care package I sent ya lol.
Debating on washing the Civic today, washed the Miata yesterday.
Also removed and replaced the alternator in the Elantra. 215k miles and the rectifier went out. Battery light came on, removed it, took to vatozone and they tested it...fail.
Took less than 2 hours to diagnose, test, remove and replace.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

(And thanks again for the package my friend)
Alternator giving you 215k in the Elantra seems not bad. That thing seems to have treated your other half well.
Thanks for the kind words everyone. Hes only 56 but isnt exactly the poster child for health. Been smoking a pack of cigs since high school, about 270lbs and only exercise is playing 18-36 holes of golf every weekend and house projects.
It was scary to say the least but the silver lining for me is he is now forced to make some serious lifestyle changes so he'll hopefully stay around for another 20+ years. He's always said when he is going to quit smoking he'll do it. And to prove how stubborn he is, he hasnt had a smoke since thursday (last one was when I picked him up)...and he isnt even using the nicotine patches they gave him. Just went cold turkey lol.
Monday went quick which was nice. I've been looking at rebuilding my PC. Its currently a mATX form factor and since building my kids ITX form factor (1/3) the size of my tower...I've been jonesing to do change my mobo to change form factors lol. Now if only I could find a video card....stupid cryptominers hogging all the supply.
As for the hyundai, that thing has been a tank. Besides normal maintenance, I've only had to replace a CV axle due to a torn boot and that was at 190k.

Good to hear on your Dad, shinjari! Sounds like he's on a better path.
My Dad put just under 200k on a 2013 Kia Optima. Darn near perfect vehicle as far as maintenance and repairs. The car world better watch the Korean's closely. They are gunning for them all. They are even bringing out a GTI competitor and the Stinger (BMW competitor). Not saying they have the same feel, but they have dependability and features down pat. It's only a matter of time.

Reliable Hyundai is best Hyundai.
I can't understand what you are asking, can you ask in Japanese or can you explain in English? It is grade GT, 2013 I believe. I misplaced my paperwork somewhere. It is not the new ones that look like an angry face. Those currently do not have a flash upgrade that won't break something.
Black with black and red accent interior. I had 3 perfect ones bought out from under me just as I finished the paperwork. Those included Modellista and TRD parts, aero, and HKS low down suspension/coilovers. Those people if I ever meet them have earned my ire forever.
However, despite having 5.5万㎞ on the engine, it is in very good condition with just very minor work needed. I have an HKS air cleaner on the way and will be looking for UEL, HKS Hi-Power exhaust, coilovers and aero in the time I own the car.

200~HP is enough for Japanese roads but most Americans complain of it feeling slow, or lacking power even though the car was designed for control and handling. Power hungry tuners can (like me soon enough) add an ECU upgrade and a supercharger to boost power between 270-320HP which is perfect for this car. The tune will come first as it is the most affordable and provides to most practical and future benefits, including boosting power and more importantly torque for this car.
