yah, it was nice for a change.
yah im kinda interested how conservative honda is setting der turbos.
VW one can immediately unleash 30% increase in power with just stage1. ridiculous night/day difference in power.

Hey guys! yeah Im stoked. Been trying to find threads with #'s but they've been removed or uninformative.
If I recall...a conservative tune would get me 35-50whp and about 45-65wtq. So stock is 180hp/177tq. With a conservative tune would get like 225whp and 235wtq. Then the clutch needs to be upgraded to surpass that.
We will see. I'll definitely report back. I did find a SI RSB locally so I should be picking that up this weekend.
Have a good Friday gents.

Note about lowering springs...think I'm making too big of a deal about 0.2"/5mm? Sportlines drop 0.2" more than the Pro-kit but require a camber kit. That 5mm worth $180 camber arms? lol

That will be awesome gains shinjari! You thinking doing mail order or dyno tune?
The sportlines are listed as 103 lb/in rear. That's just way too soft IMO. You'll end up back where you started by going with a thicker bar and then softer springs I fear.
Then you have the Pro-kits that are variable rate and start softer in the rear.
I'd pick a different spring company, but that's just me.

nice gains shinjari.
da springs really depends on the working height which is the loaded ride height and how much it might compress while driving. spring rate, how fat u is
and how u drive can also determine if u need camber stuff. most folks go for thread life of tires which imho is kinda bs.
drive da car how u want it though i guess.

If you buy an Abarth I bet after not long you will think your GK is more reliable & better built. You do realize that it's fwd? A few posts ago you said how much you don't like fwd. I'm getting confused.
I've test driven the 500 Abarth & I liked it, but compared to my GTI it ain't much. Take a test drive & see if you can live with one.

Guess I shouldn't talk since I want a Charger Hellcat...aka American car built in Canada by an Italian company.
My Lincoln is kind of unique these days. American car built by an American company in Chicago from mostly American components.
The one murky thing on my car is the chassis. It's based on a Volvo platform.
Amazing how global cars have become.

That seems to be true of many FCA platforms. Many were developed by other car companies when they were owned by other manufacturers. I think that their goal is to milk everything as much as possible and then try to sell off some of the brands.
Basically, if they can't alter a Fiat platform like the one used by the Renegade, they just seem to let it ride and milk it.
The Charger/Challenger/300 is currently riding on a TWO+ decade old chassis. It's heritage dates back to the E class Mercedes of the '90's I believe. I'd love to see a new version. Something closer to GM's Alpha chassis.

Yeah, I was more speaking of their investment (or lack there of) in Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep/Ram.

ran a few errands before coming home, did a few house chores and a little repair on da 2nd floor shower unit drain cause i found a small stain on my powder room's ceiling dis pm. sucks mang.. i have to paint da ceiling now once all dry. another thing to do. i hate working on da hauz. i would much rather just pay someone to fix things for me.
anyway, will let the caulk dry for 24hrs and will see how things are before doing the painting maybe next weekend. so tired of bs.
but i did have my icecream and things are all okay now. lol
