The Official Blog from GD to GE to GK to GTI to R?
Good luck with whatever you buy Ken. So many choices.
Shinjari- I've always been a slow car fast kind of guy. Learned to drive in a style that conserves momentum. My MINI & GTI are the fastest cars I've owned & that includes my rally cars & race cars. Guess I'm a late bloomer.
Mike- When you type CSi I think of a hokey TV show.
GAFIT- My sister just bought a new Civic & she really likes it. Not sure how fast it is, to my sister it is a four wheeled appliance. She's had great luck with Honda's over the years.

*shrug* you gotta remember your STI/R are nearly 10-12k more and come with more HP/TQ stock.
I hope you enjoy it when you drive it later this week. =)

also i mean its hard enough to put down power with fwd so how dat time translate in real world driving, not sure. most will probably end up spinning the tires especially while turning or on cold or damp surface..
thanks, yah.. i hope da test drive can seal da deal..

gafit- so u getting a csi too? if ur kids 8yrs old, he can buckle himself in and out of da car.. no problem, get da coupe.
i had a G-coupe when my kids were little and dat waz a royal pita buckling dem in on a rainy day. lol immediately switched back to my Fit afterwards.

LOL...I'm looking at it.
Would be a stark change from the 'sinkin', but I'm going through a mid-life crisis a bit late I think. Want something that's more fun to drive daily.
I should just get off my butt and get to work on the Fit.
Just kind of wondering if I should go more mild on the Fit and buy something fun and use the Fit more as a beater.
With that use for the Fit it would still get brakes, suspension, and the turbo. Would just go real mild on it all. No need for big boost and meth.
Could end up with two turbo 1.5 Honda's at the house and just work on one at a time to have the other as the back up as needed.

gafit- maybe u can do 12's with da csi with ur modding experience and show dem how its done. lol
honestly putting more money and effort in ur GD might be a waste. i mean id keep it as a beater if u get da csi and drive it to da stores and all, keep ur csi from dings. plus, if u get da coupe, makes sense to keep da GD for shopping and all.
coupe for me is no problem and i welcome it cause GK is here and im quite sure da next car for my wife will be a crv touring or da like. it will be a cargo hauler. plus i got da Golf-R too for carrying bulky things if needed when GK is not around.

I totally get what you're saying about mods into a CSi. But I think the amount of mods required to make the CSi 'fun' would still keep you well under $30k...assuming you're not spending $3k on some fancy wheels haha.
Ktuner is $450 new and supposed to make any 10th gen a whole new experience. I'll report back when I flash the ECU.
If you're willing to drop $1800+ for the turbo bolt-on upgrade and new clutch to handle the power you can break 300hp and 360tq.
Have not seen anyone put a LSD in an non-si. I'd like to see that. Honda does some electronic braking in non-si models to act like a pseudo-lsd...but still not the same as a mechanical LSD.

thanks shinjari. $450 is a bargin!
i get wat ur saying.
for me if i get da csi id pretty much keep it stock besides the short list i posted earlier.. tint, gas pedal adapter, ktuner.
i mean the stance for me is perfect, i like da factory wheels.. comes with all season tires which might work in the snow..
