Would just keep GTI, but I very much understand dissatisfaction with a car.

my dissatisfaction is with the GK. GTI is okay for da most part. fwd + huge torque just sucks at times.

i was teasing my wife i’m just going to come home with a new car one day and my GK will be nowhere to be found. lol. den she gets my GTI..

finally home and got done doing a few house chores. so tired.. my work can get pretty demanding and draining.. like folding clothes is so tiring.. or vacuuming da hauz. lol had my icecream and pepsi zero so im okay now. haha

so my kid broke his ipod touch5. when he crashed his bicycle da thing flew out of his pocket onto pavement. the 3rd party case cracked but for a few weeks it was working okay.. it appears the HOME button's solder mustve broke and got progressively worse cause now it wont respond. at least its like 6yrs old. i got it when it was first released back late 2012, gave it to my wife, and den passed to my son.

i have an ipodtouch6 with bigger memory im not using so he said he wanted to buy it from me. im okay with it, i havent used it in a while since getting my iPad mini4. oh well.

Cool. I had one of the 1st or 2nd gen ipod touches. Still here somewhere.

Dealin' with the wheel guy. Seeing if he'll budge on price.

Also kinda disappointed with SWIFT's customer service. I've emailed them a few times over the last year since getting the Civic and I think I've only gotten (1) reply and it was vague AF in regards to my question.

Every auto company has been against the tariffs.

Trump is just a neanderthal.

Neanderthal is a good word for him, but I'm glad that he's tackling the imbalanced trade agreements.

I just hope it gets sorted quickly and fairly for all parties.

My livelihood is based on the furniture industry. It's a very dynamic environment right now with tons of uncertainty. That being said, any manufacturer or retailer that put all of their eggs in the Chinese crap basket kind of needs this shake up.

Domestic with 9 plants in the US. "Parts" are sourced globally, but the design and build happen here.

They have a plant in China and purchase some stuff from other Chinese manufacturer's, but they also have facilities in Cambodia and Vietnam.

The biggest potential problem I see for the furniture industry with the trade war is fabric/vinyl/leather/etc. They buy what they can domestically, but all of the mills have gone to China. Even if purchased from a US company, the mills are all over there.

As long as they focus mostly on finished goods, it could be OK for the company I work for and really, really bad for others in the industry. The vast majority of furniture sold in the US is fully manufactured overseas. That was not true just a short time ago.

nnnn sounds like a scary position to be. i suppose if the tax was imposed incrementally over 3-4 yrs manufactures can prepare for it but if like steel if dey drop a faking 25% tax dey are severely faked.

Ooooh I need some good furniture. What's the name or is there a distributor list?

Debating on the MBP...refurbished saves me $150-200...or new gets me a 'free' pair of Beats solo3 headphones. Hmmmm

Also yeah neanderthal is a good word.

Free ice cream? More like paying for all the Maralago trips.

I'd get the new MBP, not bc Beats, just to future-proof as much as possible. With my Mac Mini, I've had the thing 4+ years & they still haven't replaced it.

Though that's probably a result of the decline of the desktop computer.

The furniture company is here... Jackson Catnapper

They mostly focus on middle of the road, mainstream stuff. Since they are based in TN, they don't have a ton of distribution on the West Coast, but they are out there. Can check the dealer locator.

With electronics it's pretty much always the best to buy the newest available. You're basically buying time.

shinjari - i suppose refurb will do fine since MBP's are solid machines. does it come with factory warranty? if not, only 150-200 difference id get new. not worth the hassle plus full apple warranty.

gafit- those are nice looking furniture!
