I am curious to know if the vinegar works. Does it kill the lawn where it’s poured?

the scent overwhelms the territorial markers. keep doing it for a while and the dog finds another spot (next door neigbhor's lawn..lol) to mark.

yah, true, not the best for plants but the grass in that area has quite a bit of weed growing so..

What if I were to pour it on the sidewalk in front of the grass? Have you tried that?

try it, but i wanted the vinegar to soak into the grass and soil for a longer effect.
ammonia works better but my wife didnt want me pouring it. lol plus, if the lawnrapers used their blower to blow wet grass and leaves onto my car, it could affect the finish.

Yeah, I’d like to avoid ammonia, too.

I’ll give the sidewalk treatment a shot, and see what happens. I get enough damage from parking lot dings that I don’t need additional blowback. People can be savages.

I feel your pain, man!

On the bright side, I will use the extra vinegar to pickle some vegetables. That’ll be something to look forward to!

lol true true!

alright back to the grind at the office today. not a real exciting day but pizza for lunch sounds good. the drive to work was super smooth. leaving the house 15 early has its benefits. light traffic and all 3 parking spots open! with all this lazy driving to work in the DSG GTI, not sure if i can ever buy another MT car for the commute..

have a good monday and week everyone!

Whats going on guys. Hope the weekend went well.

Did one of those Escape room things on friday for a friends birthday. Was pretty fun if you like puzzles. We did exceptionally well considering it was the first time for most of us in our group...and we still beat the record time by 2 minutes haha. Guess thats what happens when you put a bunch of engineers from various fields in a room full of puzzles lol.

Backyard work....dug more of the area for our firepit...hopefully its deep enough now. Started to build the frames for the concrete sections as well. Rain hindered progress.

Well...I WAS expecting (4) of my (8) video cards on thursday...but no show....then no show friday...called FedEx...and they have no idea where it is...Son of a....><

Happy Monday Everyone.

I worked in the industry for 11 years...at big brown...and know exactly what could have happened to my box. I'm fearing the worst and that it grew legs and walked away. ><

alright got home i am beat. work drained the last bit of my brain activity. so tired.. but the commute home was smooth sailing and no annoying drivers.

my buddy at work with the mk6 GTI says he's planning on getting a new Golf-R. he got a call from his dealer that they have a blue and black coming next month. i told him to get the blue cause i want to see it in person before i get mine.

Sup guys. Still no news on my first batch of GPUs...my second batch has been scanned multiple times at the same Rialto, CA facility...swear if that one doesnt show up either then theres clearly a GPU/Nvidia group of thieves at that facility.

I did learn about my car though. The SI Springs are a direct drop in for my hatchback. Super mild drop of about 10mm, BUT stiffer all around. @ $30 each spring not too shabby.

OEM Sport:
Front 126 lbs/in
Rear 158 lbs/in

OEM Si:
Front 144 lbs/in
Rear 208 lbs/in

I did read that Swift was releasing Si specific springs in the summer...but I'd imagine those are even STIFFER than the SI oem springs. Swift clarified the springs they are releasing shortly are for the CTR....and then the Si...nothing for non-CTR or non-Si in the works. =(

That sucks about your GPU's!

Those Si springs sound perfect!!! Much better rates than the aftermarket options you've posted and will be OEM quality. Seems like the perfect answer.

Thats what I was thinking GAFIT regarding my springs.

Only thing is conflicting OEM front rates info.

Eibach states OEM front is 141lbs/in, but certain Honda info claims the 126 lbs/in.
OEM Rear seems to be correct at around 160 lbs/in.

Yeah if I don't hear back from FedEx by today/tomorrow I'm raising hell.

Drove the Miata today. Such a different drive than my Civic.

Parked next to a bronze/dark brown 'R' today. Very nice color.

I like that they went way stiffer in the rear with the Si. That's the key to a better handling front drive car in my opinion. Keep the weight on the front and allow the back to rotate a bit when desired.

So even though the front Si springs may or may not be stiffer than my current....its a good option?

$120 for springs and $80 for the Si (18mm) or Type-R (20.5mm) RSB which is drop in as well. OEM Hatch RSB is 16.5mm.
