glad i didnt do any car things yesterday (especially washing related) cause it's very wet today with about 37-40F and drizzly. car is soaked in corrosive goo. hahaha.

i might wash the car later on in the week at the autowash place.

other then that, not much car things going on. i missed my window of opportunity to order up the milwaukee impact driver online so i guess ill have to buy it locally if my wife still wants to get that for me for xmas. otherwise, i might ask to get some LEGO's. hahahaha. im kinda into those technic kits.

So my inside glass froze up a little bit but not as bad as when I had the hvac left in the defrost mode.

Not sure why the GE was okay though... Maybe I'm breathing too much in the car. Hahahaha.

Still undecided on the alternate xmas present from the wife...

Thanks, Btrthnezr3! I'm glad to hear people are reading my blogs.

I guess I am a pretty decent guy but not sure if toyota folks like me or not. Blahahaha! But that new coupe they're working on is pretty cool. Just don't make it look like a corolla or yaris or some POS matrix and they'll do fine.

LOL, I've been reading about the FT86 as well...the word is that Subaru will badge it for sale in the U.S. Either that, or that Toyota will use it as the Celica or Scion as the TC. But to me, that doesn't make sense considering it is RWD...should be a new name, but a Toyota branded one imo.

yah, i think for the US, awd subaru version might sell better. FR is just not that great in the winter time even with snow tires...especially a car that small and light.

kinda funny watching those miata guys try to get around a simple expressway ramp in deep snow. even with their snows they wrap the turn the wrong way. (the tail starts to slip down the slope and car begins to turn the other way... like
watching an ant try to get out of a sandtrap. )

went over to the lego store since my kid's kit was completely sold out at target and toysrus, etc. got the kit and while there, i checked out the technic kits. they're cool but none of them really pulled me emotionally so decided not to get one...
hummm... still undecided wat i want to ask the wife for xmas.

i ordered up one of these today for my piano. i know i can make drum loops from my Fantoms but i wanted something real simple and play on the fly.

another day went in a flash... man, need to get 6pot akebono's to stop time. hahahahaha.

other than motoring to and from work, no car things today. was frikken tired during the drive back and these arsehole slow drivers on celphones pissed me off even more. they need to ban talking on the phone (BT or not) while driving.

still havent found my xmas present candidate yet.... hahaha

gotz my groovebox. will need to play with it some to familiarize.

if any of you rap this XR20 might be great for you since it has R&B and HipHop sounds mostly and has a mic input. i got it cause i wanted some avantguard sound with that in the background and me just playing funky piano over it.

talking about funky piano's i think im going to get this too... in the 73 key version. it's by korg... since korg's now
partially owned by yamaha i think it has some of the nicer piano samples from the C series concert grands. not that
i really care for piano sounds off this unit. this unit has some killer rhodes piano's and reeds.

She keeps pointing out BMW's that we see (went to casino to eat)...I'm like, Mom...you trying to tell me something? lol

And I suppose if the SV1 sucks I can get the ElectricPiano ARX board for my Fantom and call it a day.

I listened to some of the piano's the SV1 has and sounded subpar so the EP has to sound VERY GOOD and keybed needs to be very nice as well in-order for me to pull the trigger. Having a VPiano and G8(G7 too), I'm pretty picky.

well to my luck, i was about to go to the stores with my wife and kids but my younger one fell asleep for his nap so im stuck at home... hahaha oh well, guess i wont be
checking out that keyboard today...

hey accordguyintake- i took a listen to your demo's. nice job. i like the always & forever one. i use to sing(?) croach(?) over my original music for demo to show how the music would flow, but i dont have that singing voice nor was in tune all that well so never really got into it. i did pretty well at karaoke bars though...but that might be because everyone was already drunk. hahaha. that was like 15-16yrs ago...

i dont make vocal music these days, just instrumentals...actually, i was away from doing any music for 7yrs. just last year i re-started again. had to re-train my hand for 6months before i could play again. finally the last few months im really getting the hang of it, but im trying new things now so much more training needed.

My wife came home around 4pm so I got kinda excited that I could still hit the music store before it closed... Only to find out she came home only to drop-off my older son for his pitstop along with like 8 bags of groceries she asked me to put away. she had to go to another store right away to finish her errands... dang..

So this entire weekend, the farthest I stepped outside was to my mailbox to pickup some mail. . Hahahahaha

I did check up on my Z and G both sleeping in the garage... That's all the car things I did this weekend.

Going to program a few more things on my drum machine and call it a day.
