Recent wave of decreasing mileage threads

Just a thought. I won't stop you from posting these threads, but my guess is this trend has to do with the season (winter) as opposed to a sudden surge of fit buyers

yep, I too, had fallen into this category in which I've noticed a decrease in gas mileage. I drive a NHBP 5MT and I've noticed as low as 26 mpg, and even as low as 24 mpg now that it's winter time . I thought my low mpg in the summer was because of the A/C use and will rise in the winter when I finally don't have to use the A/C. but lurking and reading in this forum made me realize that winter doesn't stop me from using the A/C when using the front defroster, and so, the low mpg. even when I try to drive conservatively, it does not make a big improvement. so I've decided to just drive the Fit to the most enjoyable and pleasing way to me and stop worrying about mpg . 24-26 mpg is certainly much better than what I used to get in the Odyssey, or can be worse if I had gotten another type of car (well, I actually thought of getting an FJ cruiser and my friend who has one said that it drinks alot of gas). So to all concerned about their mpg's - let it go, for the Fit is a real fun car to drive. drive it the way you like it to be driven (in my case, semi hard with shift points anywhere 4k and above - it's fun to be in that range, try it, you might like it .

I'd be smiling too. I'm in the high 20's. But I swear we have the worst gas in the state, whenever I drive to Portland or the coast or east of the mountains I get better mileage from fuel purchased there, whether in the Fit or my Nismo Frontier.

Your...fit is supercharged? Do you have a link on pics and info? I've been pretty bad at reading this forum lately.
