so i got my fit on thursday and have already been thru 2 tanks of gas lol driving a lot this week. the first tank i got 27 mpg i was so bumbed i thought fo sho i got one of the fits that gets crappy mpg but i filled it up this morning when the gas light came on and did the math. 36.5 mpg w00t im a happy camper. but i feel like a douche hahha its been 4 days since i got my car. and it already has 550 miles on it rawr me and the fit be tearin it up cuz! lol sorry for ebonix

 

Cool man did you drive like a grandma the whole the tank? 36 is really good MPG!

 

no i didnt baby it or gma it but it was mostly freeway miles around 75 to 80 mph.

 

I get 30-34 MPG driving mostly freeway around 80MPH, but I get 36-40 MPG dropping it down to 60MPH. Keeping it below 3K seems to be optimal.

i was trying to keep it below 3400 rpms for gas milage but times arose when i needed to it just seems to struggle so much at 3000 rpms and in california 60 mph is suicide especially on the 5 durring non rush hour.

 

I wonder if i put my car in S the whole tank and kept it below 3400, if id get better MPG out of my AT?? hmmm

 

I cant seem to get above 34mpg. i get about 29-33mpg and that is mixed driving in traffic speeding and through city lights/traffic. But it is hard to drive slow when gasing it seems soo much fun especially when i got the last station intake and megen axle back which sounds really sweet like candy to my ears. It has a smooth sound that when i close my eyes its melodic low deep tone can put me to sleep.

 

Congrats. I've had mine for just over two weeks now, and only have about 300 miles on it (I do a lot of air travel for work, and the local office is only 3 miles away). I'm only on tank #2, and that was paid for by the dealership when they had to fix something. I'll check my mpg on this tank. It's not looking good, though, since almost all of my driving is done on city streets.
