Wire Harness Recall Done

Took the Fit in today for the wire harness recall from Honda and they had it completed in a few short hours. I went ahead and dropped it off first thing this morning and they took me back to the office only a few blocks
from the dealership but with it being 18 degree - too cold to walk it. I was lucky to see the Mugen Civic SI in the showroom - it was really nice and if I had $30,000.00 not a bad way to spend it. The car is just wild looking. The guy in service really liked what I had done to my Fit and they saw my Fit Freak sticker and came to the forum for a look see. They had no idea how international Fit Freaks had gone. Anyway, the Fit seems to have gone through the recall very nicely and is back to rolling down the roads. Lester Raines Honda guys are great and the VBP Sport has been sold. They currently have I believe 2 Lunar Mist Fits on the lot - that is a really pretty color in person. Anyway, just wanted you guys to know. All is well....

Good to hear your Fit is good to go. Its weird but Cali never got the recall, i still dont understand why. Here in the bay area Mugen si's are marked up to 40k, the cars not even worth 30k, but 40k come on lol.

Fitfreak was international LONG before you guys even knew you were going to be invited to buy your USDM version. We international owners where some of the first members before some of you even knew what a FIT is

Thanks a lot claymore, you had to rub it in! LOL! Just joking.

Ivan

p.s. I sat in a Jazz in Croatia in 2005 on a showroom floor and it was love on first sight! I knew that it will take Honda and Toyota to create the wave of change toward small car attitude in US. Thanks God for that!
