Another option
I like to try and find a live armadillo for this purpose. They are very handy for wiping the fog off the insides of your windows, too.

I have a 2016 Honda Fit LX (base)
i press the unlocked button on either on my driver door or my key and the truck (cargo) unlocks, the problem is, there is no way of opening the truck (cargo), from the inside.

There is a way to do it, but it involves being in the trunk with a screw driver haha
Why would you need to open it from the inside? It's not power assisted so even if it unlocks, it couldn't open on its own.
