New-designed Fit coming to US???
I still miss my car and maybe there will be a chance to get another one in the upcoming months...hopefully
. I have not been on awhile and am living in denial (missing my car)
. What has been said for the future of the Fit to stay in the US??? Were sales good enough that they will send the new design to dealers to be sold??? I have no idea what is going on...the only things i know that was new for the 2008 USDM Fit was the new colors, not offering it in white, and tire pressure sensors. Any info will help unless you guys are like me and dont know either. I will try to research it myself...

Honda is not to clear on the new Fit coming to the US details. But ecpect it to arrive in late 08 when the new 09's start hitting dealers. At least that was the original plan, and i havent herad of them changing that.

The 1st gen JDM Fit is shorter than the USDM Fit by a few inches I think, so if the new Fit comes over here and does not get the bumpers
extended (again
) should it be like the same size (length wise) as the current USDM one.? hmmmmm...
Maybe Honda made the new Fit a little bigger so that they would not
have to alter the Fit as much for different markets? hmmm....

Plus... We have no idea how the US one will look.
I know it looks weird but it's not like the current Fit doesn't look weird to most people. Most people tell me the current Fit is ugly (as they will with the next gen) but who cares? It's no car to flaunt around... It's a personal car. The kind of car you don't care whether people like or dislike.
I would definitely wait for the '09.
Plus, the pictures on Honda's Japanese website show that the new Jazz doesn't look too different from the '08 Fit. It just is in desperate need of a spoiler and a redesigned dashboard.
