drive side is sitting lower than the passenger side

Would someone be able to give me some advice on why my driver side is sitting lower than my passenger side. I was going to doing my oil change today and I went to jack up my car on the left hand side. However, my landlord came out and told me I wasn't able to do maintence to my car. So I took my car off the jack and I realized that my driver side is now sitting lower than my passenger. The passenger side is about 1/2 to an inch higher. Does anyone know why it is like this or how to fix it.

yeh, it's called corner balance. no car will sit prefectly flat
unless it has coilovers...or just happened to sit flat from
coincidence.

also, if you raise your car your springs will take some time
to compress to working height. drive your car around the
block and see. you shouldn't be able to visibly tell that
it was slanted.
