I just installed a ScanguageII in my Explorer Sport this past week. Very nice gauge...lots of info pulled out on the car. Great for "info geeks".
The display color has a few fixed colors, but one can actually mix whatever color they want. The user can make a custom color by varying the intensity of red, green, or blue from 0-3. So, matching your Fit's interior illumination shouldn't be that hard...
Hook up is a snap. It comes with a cable with a telephone/ethernet connection on one end that plugs into the Scangauge and a connector that plugs into the OBD connector on your Fit. TUrn the car on, setup the gauge (i.e., enter engine size, fuel tank size, etc), select the four gauges you wish to monitor and you're off.
I ordered mine directly from the manufacturer in Arizona for about $169. I like it.
Hope this info helps.

Go to the following link ScanGaugeII - Frequently Asked Questions and download the ScanGaugeII With XGauge User Manual. That is exactly what is delivered with the product. And yes, they are helpful.
Install is this:
Plug one end of the cable into the Scangauge, the other end into the OBD port inside your Fit (I believe it is located under the dash on driver's side near center console), mount (with included velcro) the Scangauge where you prefer and you're done. Setup up the gauge and enjoy.
Placement of the gauge took the longest for me. The day I received it (mailed to my office), I took it out of the box, connected the cable in the amount of time it took to make two connections and the gauge was working. Couldn't be easier.

I have a ScanGuageII that I had originally installed in my 05 Nissan Frontier. It's now in my Fit. I'll have to snap pics this weekend is the weather is nice. I leave it mainly on the Avg MPG screen for the current trip so I know what my gas mileage is like on my commute. The colors are customizable to an extent. I was able to get it fairly close to the gauge color, but it's not exact (It will do Amber and Red). I mounted it on top of the steering column so it's easy to see, but it does block some of the indicators below the speedometer (mainly the headlight indicator and turn signal indicators). I'm still exploring other locations, but for the moment, that's where it sits! I have an Edge Evolution programmer in my GMC Serria and it came with a really nice dash pod that makes it look OEM, I which someone would make one for the ScanGuageII that mounts above the left side air vent, that would be awesome!
