What location did you use for your ScanGauge?
Mine is on top of the dash right above the radio behind the vents, in the middle top of the dash. I really like it there because I can just glance over to see it while driving. I have some Velcro adhesive holding it so I can remove it if I like. I find I don't look down anymore at the speedo just glance over to the SG to see how fast I'm going. A bit like driving a Toyota Yaris, haha. The only issue I have found is when parked if it's a very sunny day and it gets hot in the car the SG will not display bright until it cools off. I started using a sunscreen on the front glass which I should do anyway and all is well. I have it set to a yellow background so you can see it really well. I really love that thing, well worth it.
i did see some one made a double din head unit replacement panel that accepted the scan gauge on here somewhere. pretty bad ass. im not getting rid of the stock receiver tho so...
Well I have it figured out. That is for what I will do, It just bugged me blocking the center idiot lights and did not like having the wheel low so they showed. Also was not happy about reaching threw the wheel to press buttons.
I post a pic Sunday.

OK here's the spot mine will live.

I have to rerout the cable from the rear connection and add a 2nd section of velcro. I like it because:
- It's easy to see
- Out of the dash sun light
- Easy to reach with my right hand (radio, shifter) the busy hand
- It does not hide the dash displays
- It does hide some of the AC heat controls some, but they are still easy to get to and that will be the worst of the issue. I can still see them and work them just fine
