The prsent model Fit ( 2008)... and when will the 2009's start selling??

How many total present models did the sell in a little more than 2 yrs???

 

Honda has confirmed "Fall 08" for the 09. I reckon around October or so.

that would suck, why they are changing the style that quick? Most cars body style have a life span of 5 years before changing. This is the same thing with Scions except the TC's

 

The Fit has been around everywhere but the US since 2003, so it is 5 years old already.

 

i think it's been out since around 2001, so it's actually been more than 5 years. we americans got the fit at the end of its generation.

 

I here the 2009' will be built in the USA???

Still no production numbers for NA for 2007??

 

Soon the ugly will surround us. I pray not many are sold.

 

i think the last production run for the 2008's will be mid-August timing
before the obon holiday. not sure why, i just feel that it is a nice
break point.

 

yeah i dont really mind if they come in this soon. Just means that our cars will be even more rare one day

 

If they offer a diesel I may decide to go with the ugly.

 

Yeah I count around 100k being sold here..... not much for parts... But I love my car.. Bought it 4/20/2006.... Before the issue date 4/22...
Maybe I'll buy a 2010 in a couple of yrs, when my 97 mazda 626 is put to rest..... any way... I m very happy with the 2006.. ahhh 2007..

 

Release date WAS 4/20... I know because I had to wait 2 days before I could purchase mine. Mine hit the lot 4/18

 

Yessir, 4/20 -- I took the day off from work to go buy mine.

 

+1. if a diesel honda comes out, or a hybrid fit, this slow, relatively low MPG fit will be gone like yesterday's garbage. a little harsh, but gas prices are no joke. might as well get amazing mileage if you have to go slow while doing it.
