Glad to hear another Fit saved it's owner.

Here's hoping you have a speedy recovery and you get a brand new one soon!

I know a fantastic chiropractor in Pottstown but that is probably a tad far for you. Either way, I would recommend visitng a chiropractor now to get some x-rays . Some whip-lash accidents will leave you feeling ok after the impact but the real issues will show up at a later time. It's better to have his insurance company pay for it now than you pay out of pocket down the road.

Sorry about the Fit, but glad to hear that you'll be ok. My wife was involved in the exact same accident 2 years ago. She was in her 95 Civic coupe going straight through an intersection, and a guy coming the opposite way in a Silverado tried to turn left in front of her and hit her almost head on. She had some bruises and a broken leg. Just make sure his insurance pays for everything, and they'll probably offer you a settlement too, so that plus the cost of your Fit totaled should cover the cost of a new one.

What happened to your hearing?
Was it because of the side curtains exploding???

I Feel Your Pain

Glad that you are alright, considering!! Sorry about your Fit, I had a close call a couple of weeks ago, and the thought struck me "what if I had to replace my Fit?!" a thought too horrible to consider!! Hopefully, yours is not totaled, although it would never be the same!! Best wishes , and make the other guy's insurance pay for the rental!!!

nsoroma, glad you're o.k.. I hope you have a speedy recovery. I hope your Fit isn't that badly damaged, but if it is, you get a great settlement. Would be great to see your baby come back from the dead!

And we all hope you get banned quickly for being 1) rude, 2) disrespectful, and 3) a bit of a hypocrite.

P.S. That's the first bit of neg. rep. I've given out in a long while. A loooooong while.

Let's all give a big "Hoooooray!" for Infinitifxrules being banned. That prick made me appreciate how amiable these forums are in general.

My fit was totaled a couple months ago but I walked away 100% okay. Glad to hear there are no serious injuries.

Because the Fit has such high resale value you will probably get a very good settlement that will allow you to replace it. I got a total of $17,200 for my totaled Base (including tax, etc.) I hope it works out.

so many accidents

Why is that more Fits are getting into accidents?

I always tell myself, "As long as I'm still alive. Could have been worse since I don't have health insurance." I'm glad you didn't get hurt.

While it really does sadden me to read about another accident and someone losing their car, I'm happy to know that everyone has overcome their injuries and is still here with us today. It appears the Fit is built a lot tougher than I first thought it was. They can take a beating and everyone inside (although bumped and bruised) ends up okay.

Stay safe out there everyone!!!
