Scangauge - Setup>Engine question

Hi there,

I recently installed my Scangauge II and went through the setup for tank size, fuel type, etc. However I don't know what to set the Engine setting to (or if I need to set it). It defaults to 3.0 Liters, and I have no idea what the Fit Sport is. I've looked in the owner's manual but I couldn't find anything that was referencing Liters.

I've only gone about 50 miles since I've hooked it up and I'm getting the most appalling gas mileage readings, so I'm hoping this might make a difference. I know that I need to wait until I drive more so it averages out, but I just drove home from work (20 miles, mix of hwy and surface streets) and the Trip MPG was 17 MPG. Ouch! I have no idea if I've setup something wrong, or if I'm indeed getting really bad MPGs right now.

Thanks,
-Kristen

it's supposed to be set to 1.5 liters. the fit has a 1.5 liter engine.

your gas mileage might be low like that because of your engine size being incorrect

I just went to the grocery store and that was definitely the problem. I'm getting MUCH better readings now.

This is such a wonderful forum.

Thanks!!
