you folks are too funny. i was just kidding around, but yet just
saying i was able to do over 42mpg and it was kind of an achievement
for me.
i really dont care about mpg as long as im over 30mpg.

i bought the car for its fun factor, not really anything else... i own
3 other cars.

I have no mods and typically get 40mpg = technique.
actually manufactures tend to run rich, so by adding an intake or even a higher flow filter, you're introducing more air into the system, which leans the system out more giving a better burn in fuel. But i will agree with techinque. My first tank avg was 35.3mpg but now on my second tank it's looking closer to 38+. I do 70%city driving.
