Rear camera mount

Has anyone mounted a rear camera on their Fit/Jazz?
How was it attached and where?

I have a little wing/spoiler in the rear (roof mounted) and was thinking of mounting it underneath that wing.

Any suggestions to which camera?

I have a Pioneer AVIC-HD3BT (AVIC-Z2 in the US).

Click on license plate cameras on the top left. That's the best bet.

Visiontech America

I just put one on my cargo van. You don't have to worry about something hanging off the car. They have other styles too.

FONIX,
In addition to the link from radareclipse, there is another less expensive brand of "back-up camera" that mounts on the license plate frame. Costco in the U.S. and many discount catalogs sell these for $150.00 or less, Costco's price is about $89. They have a small dash mount screen, and the wireless camera transmits the images to the dash screen. I had one of these on my pickup truck, and it worked very well.

The rear-view camera systems that have higher prices usually have larger screens, and can be bought with better filtering in the camera to improve images in strong glare or dark conditions. The cheaper systems lose resolution in bad lighting.

Isn't the lincense plate a bit low on our cars for a rear view camera?
And I have EU license plates that are diffrent size from the US type license plate. But I see they sell camera with out the license plate holder too. Nice.

Thanx for the info. I didn't know about those type of cameras. They could even be mounted under the wing as I was thinking of and they are smaller than the camera I have seen so far.

Have anyone actually mounted a rear view camera on the Fit/Jazz?

These cameras are really really wide angled. You would need a double din or flip-out monitor type DVD receiver in dash that could display this camera when you put the car in reverse or setup it up so you can use it as a rear vision whenever you want. A camera on a Fit isn't really necessary. On a cargo van, yes it is. It could be done more as a novelty thou anyway.
