rubbish at launch

rubbish at launch

Hi there.. does anybody know, why does my fit revving so hard in the first start at the traffic light (ranging until 2k rpm) especially when the a/c compressor is on.. mine is 5AT

Do you mean at idle when you first start then engine? Because its cold and warming up, all engines do this.

I never even noticed "hard revving" when i take off.

i think he's talking about the infamous honda ac lag.When you have your ac on,there's a highly noticeable lag from idle to about 2-2.5k then it kinda just surges back to normal speed

oh well, when summer gets here i will gladly put up with a little lag. i've had a couple cars with out AC, it really sucked on those hot muggy days.

it's not about cold start. Here's the simple case. when i change from N to D, and i press the pedal, seems like the car wont run. and after reaching 2k up, it goes normal. But, it doesn't appear if the a/c compressor's off..

My 95 civic ex had horrible ac lag. I don't use ac anymore though. Strictly windows
