Just dont want to start

yesterday, i received a impact on my rear bumper the and rear door when i was waiting for the green light. it seems like just needed some minor body work and paint. so the guy (21 i keep the ID) and i got and gentelmen agreement.

today morning i realize the central lock is not working because the rear door is jammed on the specific lock mechanism.

well, i try to star the car and do not want to start. damn!

i checked the battery and is ok, plug and unplug the negative cable to check if has something to do with the central lock, but nothing.

so i get a cab to go to the work.

any ideas ?

How did you gain access to the car? Sounds like an anti-theft system is deterring your car from starting.

What does your key do? Can you turn it all the way to the starter or are you locked in the aux position?

well, today morning i realize my car was unlocked. i try to lock/unlock with my remote but the rear door made a noise, and the doors didnt lock.

the hit on the rear door created a malfunction in the lock/unlock mechanism.

but when i insert the key it seems everything working ok, the key indicator on the panel flash three or four times (as usual) and then dissapears, all other indicators works as usual.

but when i move the key to ingition point, just hear a CLICK! noise coming fron the trunk (not sure what part)

i checked the battery as the manual indicates (ligths, radio) and is working ok.

is there a way to turn on the central lock or the anti-theft system ?

btw my fit is 2002 GD1 - iDSI - 5 Manual

thanks in advance

Im not sure about non US Fits, but do they have a fuel cut off switch after an impact?
Maybe the clutch safety switch got kicked loose or something?

Youre pushing the clutch down right?
