Cleaning Products?

Im getting my fit hopefully in a couple of days and I dont know what products to use. i went to Canadian Tire, and there was detailer, wax, tire cleaner, rim cleaner, etc etc and like 50 different types of cloths.
Could You guys simply recommend a full set of products Id need to have the Fit looking its best?

Oh geez. Man, you'll get a THOUSAND different answers of what people think and why... and no one will have the answer that's right for you.

What color Fit are you getting? Some products do more for certain colors then others.

Personally I prefer Ultima, others like Mother's, Meguilars, the new Ice line from Turtle Wax. But it all comes done to preference.

as for soap, i use what ever, wax i STRONGLY recomend Tech Wax 2.0... it is simply amazing, if u need a deeper clean, meguiers stage 1 and 2 paint cleaning system is great. on to the wheels, for rim cleaner either simple green or greased lightning, for tire shine, amorall is what i use, any interioir cleaning i use amorall, finaley for cloths, well to dry my car i ust the california water balde to peel off most of the water, then any microfiber cloth to finish, also use microfiber for removing wax... hope this helps and good luck with our new fit!

were do u start..

car shampoo anything really as long as its not the wash and wax combo, thats useless..
i swear by quick detailer spray, always good to apply wen drying the car, kill 2 birds with the one stone..
microfibre cloths r a must, atleast 2 big ones for drying 3 smaller ones for applying and buffing off polish/wax..
polish, depends on wat color the car is but autoglym super resin is a effective one to use..
wax cud b anything i guess, lots to choose from depending on color of car..
i cud go on with sealer, glaze, pre wax cleanser etc but no need to worry bout that til later on..
a porter cable (pc) is a gd if u have the time for it..
clay bars later on down the line..
meguiars purple wheel gloss is gd, nice to smell aswel!
a gd few layers of rim wax before u start drivin the car so that brake dust etc do not stick to the wheels, easy to clean..
interior spray etc..
i give up...

Wax is very old technology. Use something like Klasse, last way way longer that ANY wax. You will get alot of advice over at this forum which is all about car detailing:
