Fitting family car?

We are having our first child in a few months and would really like to hear from other parents as far as how the Fit handles kids and all their "accesseries"?

Do you wish you went with a bigger vehicle? Do the rear doors allow easy access to the rear seat?

Thanks!

yes, the fit should be a great family car for you.
the rear seats and doors are large enough for a child, or even a grown man!
you won't regret getting a fit.

We've had no issues getting the infant car seat in the back - fairly easy in/out. If it is a rear facing car seat, you can only put the front seat back so far, but i'm 5'11" and have no issues.

Overall = lots of room for baby stuff like the stroller, etc. Haven't tried a long trip yet, but that's why we also have a minivan!

Thanks for the info, everyone. I figure on long trips we have my truck if needed.
