I picked up my 2008 NBP Manual Fit Sport (exactly what I wanted) off of the lot fall 2007 at Bankston Honda in Lewisville.

There were three more Fit's on the lot at the time - no idea how long they had been there.

From the sound of things on this thread, I got lucky.

 

I started looking for a fit in the beginning of May; I wanted a Vivid Blue Sport with a manual. After going to 5 different Honda dealers no one had that combination on the lot. I ended up leaving a deposit at one dealer for them to do a car search. They got back to me the next week that no one had one on-hand that they could trade. So May 31 I pulled the trigger and bought a storm silver sport manual after seeing a silver one. The color was much nicer in person. I just picked it up today June 24. The car's build date was 5/21/08. So it took about a month to make it to Massachusetts from Japan. I ended up paying MSRP fo the car even though every dealer in my area is charging over MSRP.
