I don't have anything close up so here's just some full car shots and one at 100% crop to kinda show how it sits on the base. It's hard to see it but the bottom where it meets the base flares out quite a bit so it's almost as wide as the Fit as the bottom.

Oh man, Arisenfury, that looks amazing to me! So it screws on just fine and looks fine? Does the trunk hit the antenna? Wonder how much a Vibe antenna is...

Also isn't the Fit antenna the same as the S2000's? Go steal someone else's...

Just kiddin'.

Would it be a bad idea to suggest just supergluin' your antenna? Would it interfere with the reception? It's not like the antenna is something constantly taken off...

Yeah it sits pretty much flush, misses the spoiler by like a centimeter or so. The VDub antennas are either the same or pretty similiar I think as well. Those guys ditch theirs all the time for stubby ones so you might be able to find them around for pretty cheap.

I have the one for the Evo. Threads match perfectly, but the base is not the same as the Honda antenna. Looks fine and I added some silicone sealent to keep the theives at bay...

Yeah there's a mountain I have to go over every day to get to work, with the stock antenna I'd get tons of static going over, with this one it's down to where I almost don't even hear the static. It's still on the small side compared to full size ones though so it's not perfect but I didn't notice an improvement.

Good to know, very interested in pickin' up the antenna now.

Also I'm assuming color is spot-on? Kinda a big deal for me since I'm a perfectionist.

I don't remember if it's an exact match, I do know that it's close enough to not really stand out as I've never really noticed it looking off. I'll let you know for sure tomorrow when the sun's out.

i was going to say that a larger antenna like that would probably be good if you wanted a rally car look.

Didnt get to take a pic yet, but the ebay one I posted looks exactly like the one Arisenfury has. That vendor also makes a 16" one which is probably pretty close in length to his.

Well the extra long antenna didn't last too long, after seeing pics in another thread I ordered a Perrin 2" antenna. That thing is crazy small! Makes it almost look like a shark-fin. It's got a weird finish to it since it's all metal that makes it difficult to unscrew. However I added some blue loctite and I can't even budge it with my hands, and I only let it sit for about 30 minutes. I think it said it was good for 130 pounds of torque to break it loose. So unless The Rock comes by and wants to steal my antenna, anyone else will need some hand tools to break it loose and some cloth to keep it from getting scratched in the process. I'm gonna try tomorrow if it's dry out and see if I can get the lock to break.

Short Antenna

I just got a short antenna from this seller on Ebay... eBay Store - SHORTANTENNA: Short Stubby Antenna

I bought the G-series in black. I haven't noticed any reception loss, but I'm sure I will once I drive around more.
