Just got my Vivid Blue Pearl Fit today

Bought my Vivid Blue pearl fit today. After much shopping around and hassling, I got it for 17,010$ OTD. He had to milk out an extra 10$ out of our pockets lol. Well worth it though , where can I get some good car mats? Any good place in the socal area for Tints? Also, the dealer mentions something about washing the car after a month and sealing it, or should I get it teflon coated instead? He even mentioned about how it was good NOT TO CHANGE the oil out early, since it was "special break in oil" until 5,000 miles,
Any recommendations?

Thanks

Congrats on your new Fit and welcome to the forums!!! I got the same exact spiel from the fleet manager about not changing out the ol until the 5k mile mark. I know others have swapped it out in the first thousand miles with no ill effects. However, I am choosing to follow the owners manual to the "T" on this one, and sticking with the factory recommended oil change intervals of every 5k miles or 6 months.

I got some pretty sweet all season mats at wal-mart for about 24 bucks.

The stock Fit floor mats are really nice. Lots of internet suppliers offer them. They fit perfectly and have the "FIT" logo.

I'm sticking to the mfg's recommendation and changing my oil at 5K.

Good luck with your new Fit! You'll love it.

Does OTD include the sales tax?

Congratulations! Another VPB. Heh, just kidding... it's my favorite color after the 07 TWs.

For tint, I love Sun Shield in Sherman Oaks. It's a bit of a drive from HB, but they do amazing work. I've had several cars done there, and my friend, who has owned a slew of M cars and Porsches, won't go anywhere else. They have all sorts of different films for all budgets. Their work is immaculate, tint a ton of dealer cars, and your car interior comes back spotless.

As for detailing, if you can, do it yourself w/ P21S products.
