I haven't driven a stick in years... I do miss it sometimes, just for the adventure of driving. The paddle shifters make up for it somewhat, but it isn't the same thing at all... the car just doesn't have the same loose/nimble feeling. I DON'T miss it driving around NYC though, with all the stop and go/tollbooth lines etc etc.
