The main reason I can think of is if you drive in a snowy area when all of the road spray is freezind or drying on the windsheild and you can see sh**. During the summer I use only one gallon of fluid, but during the winter I use 1 - 2 a month. Sometimes more like 1 a week.

So during your next trip to Lincoln, IL and Chicago, if it is in the winter, you will need it or be stoping every few miles to scoop up snow and rub it on the windsheild.

i would keep it because the brushes where i am at, at the gas stations, are all disgusting. plus you never know when you might need a little...relocating with a small bottle might be neat tho.

I would say that the bird remains you mentioned are kind of an extreme example. The system works fine for a dusty, or slightly grimy windshield, which is what it was intended for. If Honda had meant for it to get roadkill off, the nozzles would've been hooked up to a pressure washer rather than a small fluid pump!

that's a funny one with the pressure washer.

I'll look into relocating a small bottle for just the occasion.

I don't want to relocate the batter in the trunk, cause that's for something else. the trunk is already taken. If I could cut out the wheel well, and replace with a proper metal trunk, then maybe I would put it back there, but that isn't what I plan to do with it.

And with my fat ass in the car, that's more than enough weight distribution to counter the move of the batter to the front.

Thanks for the input. I'll relocate a small bottle

Although not something that can't be done without the spray and stock bottle, I use the spray all the time with deicer fluid in the winter to get snow and ice quickly off my windshield if the car's been sitting in the elements like at work or school. Also helps get the ice going when you're out there with a scraper.

If you do tuck the battery down there, it might be a good idea to have remote posts or some kind of access in case you need a jump or are generous to give someone a jump...

All I've got to say about this is that if you've ever had to drive in winter conditions (icing, snow) behind a salt or sand truck, then you will understand that your windshield sprayers are essential in order to be able to see anything out of your windshield.

If you lived where I do you would quickly realize the need for that bottle of fluid!
